Description

The Mauve Crossing Blocks Framed Artwork sets overlapping abstract shapes against a pale background, balancing strong vertical lines with a soft, muted palette. Brown, mauve, taupe and grey blocks cross at different heights, creating a composition with enough movement to hold the eye and enough space to feel calm.
Why You'll Love It
  • The subdued colours make it easy to connect warm brown furniture with grey or taupe upholstery.
  • A broad pale mount gives the closely grouped blocks room to stand out.
  • The portrait format offers a pleasing vertical counterpoint to a low console or chest of drawers.
Materials & Finish

A warm brown frame with a visible grain effect surrounds the pale mount. Within the artwork, fine crosshatched markings and uneven block edges soften the geometry, giving the colour areas a textured appearance.

Styling Note

Hang above a hallway console or beside a reading chair, leaving clear wall space around the frame. Pick up the mauve with a cushion or ceramic vase, and keep nearby patterns simple so the intersecting blocks remain the focus.
Why We Love It

The small horizontal grey block quietly interrupts the taller shapes, giving the composition its rhythm.
