Description

The Waders Beside Water Framed Print captures two long-billed birds among dense reeds, with open water and a distant shoreline behind them. Finely drawn plumage and sweeping bills give the scene its character, while muted greens, browns and a pale clouded sky keep the landscape restful. A warm tan-gold frame completes the composition.
Why You'll Love It
  • Detailed birds and reeds reward a closer look.
  • Soft, earthy colours work comfortably with cream, olive and brown interiors.
  • The broad pale surround gives the busy foreground room to breathe.
  • A beaded frame edge provides a decorative finish to the landscape format.
Materials & Finish

The pale surround has a visible textile-like texture, contrasting with the dark lines of the illustration. The frame has a warm tan-gold finish, a grain-like surface pattern and a row of small rounded beads along its inner edge.

Styling Note

Hang above a console or chest, leaving clear wall space around the frame so the reeds and feather detail remain the focus. Pair with an olive wall or cream upholstery to pick up the colours in the scene, and keep nearby ornaments low so they do not obscure the artwork.
Why We Love It

The birds' long, curving bills cut across the reeds and open water, giving this quiet scene a striking sense of movement.
