Description

The Scale Bud Tea Light Holder — Large is a ceramic candle holder with the layered shape of an artichoke bud. Overlapping pointed scales surround its circular well, giving the rounded body a strong sculptural outline and plenty of detail to enjoy even when displayed unlit.
Why You'll Love It
  • A botanical shape that makes a candle holder an interesting decorative object in its own right.
  • Muted off-white, grey and brown tones pair easily with wood, linen and earthy colours.
  • A low, rounded profile offers a useful counterpoint to taller pieces in a console display.
Materials & Finish

Made from ceramic, with a mottled, distressed finish that resembles weathered stone. Pale patches, darker markings and visible surface texture emphasise the edges and recesses of the scales.
Dimensions
  • Length: 18cm
  • Height: 12cm
  • Width: 18cm
  • Weight: 0.80kg
Styling Note

Place it beside a tall, plain vase on a console or sideboard, leaving space around the pointed outline. Keep nearby ornaments simple so the layered surface remains the focus.
Why We Love It

The pointed scales form a small crown around the central well, making the opening part of the design.
