Description

The Rippled Drum Side Table pairs a simple round top with undulating ridges that wrap around its black drum-shaped body. Painted brass-coloured accents trace those waves, giving the substantial-looking silhouette movement and warmth. It works as a useful surface beside a seat and a sculptural focal point in its own right.

Why You'll Love It
  • A flat circular top offers a handy place for a drink, book or small lamp.
  • Black and brass-coloured detailing make an expressive pairing with pale upholstery or dark wood.
  • Hand-shaped ridges and variations in the finish give each piece its own character.
Materials & Finish

Made from glass fibre-reinforced concrete, the table has hand-shaped ridges finished in black with painted brass-coloured accents. The uneven lines and visible surface texture lend depth to the finish, while a protective topcoat seals the surface. Colour, texture and markings vary between pieces, and fine, non-structural cracks may occur.

Care & Use
  • For outdoor use, place only in a covered area.
  • Cover or store indoors when not in use and during poor weather; bring indoors during cold seasons.
  • Clean with water and mild soap. Avoid abrasive, bleach-based, ammonia-based, citrus or acidic cleaners.
  • Wipe spills promptly. Use felt or rubber pads beneath objects left on the surface for extended periods.
  • Use a trivet beneath hot objects and do not apply adhesives directly to the surface.
  • Apply wax within two months of installation, then every three to six months according to use and location. Use natural beeswax or carnauba wax labelled food-safe and non-toxic.
  • Wax before winter. Cover and seal during extreme weather.
  • Avoid bath oils near the table; prolonged surface contact can cause permanent discolouration.
  • Stone soap is an optional choice for ongoing maintenance and conditioning.
Styling Note

Place it beside an armchair where the rippled sides remain visible. A plain ceramic lamp or a single candle keeps the top uncluttered; cream fabrics and warm wood tones pick up the warmth of the painted accents.

Why We Love It

The quiet, unbroken top gives the lively ridges below it room to stand out—a pleasing balance of restraint and texture.
