Description

The Ovoid Crackle Vase is a generous ceramic vase with a rounded body and a finely crackled grey glaze. Its broad shoulders taper towards a narrower base, giving the substantial form a pleasing curve. A low circular rim keeps the outline simple, allowing the intricate surface to take centre stage even when displayed empty.
Why You'll Love It
  • The rounded silhouette makes a strong focal point on a spacious sideboard.
  • Fine crackle gives the grey surface detail to enjoy up close.
  • The wide opening suits a loosely arranged display of dried branches.
  • Its neutral colour pairs easily with warm wood, cream linen and darker accessories.
Materials & Finish

Made from ceramic, the vase has a grey glazed finish with a dense network of fine crackle lines. The glaze catches the light across the curved body, while darker, worn-looking patches around the rim and base give the surface an uneven, weathered appearance.

Styling Note

Give it room on a broad sideboard, with a low stack of books to one side so the rounded outline stays visible. Display it empty or use a few tall dried branches; keep nearby accessories sparse to let the vase's scale and surface do the work.
Why We Love It

The low rim lets the eye follow the full curve of the shoulders without interrupting the ovoid shape.
