Description

This artichoke-form ornament pairs a dense crown of upright leaves with a tall rectangular plinth. Dark leaf tips and deep recesses give the pale form definition, while the contrast between the rounded crown and straight-sided base makes it a striking focal point for a console or mantelpiece.
Why You'll Love It
  • Layered leaves create a sculptural botanical silhouette.
  • Dark tips pick out the individual leaves against the pale surface.
  • The tall plinth gives the rounded crown a clear architectural setting.
Materials & Finish

Ceramic with a rough-looking grey-beige surface, mottled with brown. The irregular colouring gives the ornament a weathered appearance, with darker marks concentrated at the leaf tips.
Dimensions
  • Length: 19cm
  • Height: 34cm
  • Width: 19cm
Styling Note

Place it on a console or mantelpiece beside a low stack of books, leaving space around the crown so its outline stays visible. A plain wall behind it will help the layered leaves stand out; warm wood and muted linen make sympathetic companions to the mottled finish.
Why We Love It

The short tapered stem creates a neat pause between the busy leaf crown and the plain geometry of the plinth.
