Description

This artichoke-form ornament pairs a densely layered crown with a rectangular plinth for a sculptural display. Dark leaf tips and deep recesses give the rounded form definition, while the short tapered stem sets it above the straight-sided base.
Why You'll Love It
  • Upright leaf-like forms create an intricate silhouette worth viewing up close.
  • Dark tips draw the eye across the crown and emphasise its layered shape.
  • The rectangular plinth gives the organic form a crisp architectural counterpoint.
Materials & Finish

Ceramic with a rough-looking grey-beige surface and brown mottling. The pale finish picks out the raised leaves, with darker accents at their tips and shadow in the recesses giving the ornament visual depth.
Dimensions
  • Length: 18cm
  • Height: 27cm
  • Width: 18cm
Styling Note

Place it on a console or bookshelf beside a low stack of books, leaving clear space around the crown so its outline is easy to appreciate. A plain wall behind it will help the individual leaves stand out.
Why We Love It

The darkened leaf tips give this artichoke its character, marking out each upright form against the pale surface.
