Description

Casita combines a structured upper weave with a looser fringed edge in natural mendong grass. The tapered 65 cm form moves from defined construction to irregular fibre, with tonal variation visible across its matte surface. A 40 cm width keeps the pendant's vertical emphasis clear and contained.
Why You'll Love It
  • Tapered outline gives the small shade vertical emphasis
  • Mendong grass brings dry texture and natural tonal variation
  • Fringed lower edge adds softness and visible movement
  • Open weave keeps the compact form visually light
  • Fibre irregularity prevents the surface from appearing uniform
Materials & Finish

Natural mendong grass forms the small pendant’s open upper weave, loosening into a matte fringe with varied fibre lengths.
Dimensions
  • Width: 40 cm
  • Depth: 40 cm
  • Height: 65 cm
Care & Use

Use indoors. Dust the mendong grass with a soft cloth or brush and keep it away from humidity. Cable not provided; use with an E27 fitting.
Styling Note

Works well above a bedside, in a reading corner, or grouped in multiples over a dining setting. The fringed detail softens the overall composition and pairs naturally with wood, linen, and plaster finishes.
Why We Love It

We love the small Casita’s shift from structured mendong weave to an irregular fringe, all within a slender taper.
